How to convince my parents that WoW is ok?

About a year ago, I played WoW, and I liked it, maybe too much though. I was kind of addicted to it and my parents took it away.





Now, I think I am more mature, and want to start playing it again in moderation, but I don't know how to convince my parents that I can play it without getting obsessed.

The addiction thing is a farce. That wears off after the first week. Maybe sooner, depending on your attention span. If you plan to play on the Blizzard servers, pay for it yourself. If you plan to play on a private server that problem disappears entirely. And just try showing your parents that you're more mature in general. Turn the lights out when you're done, pay closer attention to more adult things(not referring to porn), help them with things you wouldn't normally do, etc. Once they see you're growing up they'll give you more freedom to self govern, and allow you to do whatever you want.
You should talk to them I spend 14 hours a day on the internet at least on my days off and a good 10 when I am working though the week.





Just make sure you do everything you need to get done before playing that way your parents will not have a problem with it.





Try telling them its how you whined down at the end of the day and relax.
when they are in a good mood, make a deal with them that you wont play it for more than an hour a day and prove that you'll be committed to this deal.
tell them you'll always finish your homework before you play it...

If I was your mom, that's what you'd have to do to convince me.
You cant play WoW without getting obsessed =/ its just like gambling and stuff its a strong addiction try getting wc III the frozen throne its fun and its not WoW so maybe you could buy it
I have the same problem. the trick is to make a powerpoint about it pointing out all the good things about put only 0.001 % of all the wow players are addicted
