How can you persuade parents to by a dog?

I really wants this dog and I wanna know how to persuade them to get one.How can you persuade parents to by a dog?
Get some books from the library about dogs and dog training and read them. Start helping out around the house. Get out of bed early and go for a walk so they know you will do that with the dog when you get one. Act responsibly for awhile and prove you deserve to have a wonderful animal as part of your life.How can you persuade parents to by a dog?
I would like a dog too, but i have 2 cats, and i think thats enough.





Dogs, you have to walk them, it's bad to just keep them in a yard all the time.


Cats just run around the house.





if you go on vacation , you have to get somebody to watch a dog,


a cat you can leave at home with its litter box, and lots of food and water.
Are you going to get up in the middle of the night when it has to go potty? Or clean up after him or her the they get sick? You have to spend time at obedience school and you have to keep the training up everyday. Dogs are a lot of work and care. You can't neglect them to go play with friends. Are you sure your ready for that kind of responsibility?
First of all, it's their house and their rules.





Get a job, save up $3000 for emergencies, ensure that you can provide a safe and healthy living environment for the next 10+ yrs, maintain proper grades, make sure you are able to be home every 3-4 hrs if it is a puppy and ask them again.
To get your parents to buy you a dog, You can tell them you will take care of the dog. Like walk, feed, and bathe the dog. Also it would help to do research on the dog you would want, and explain it to them.
Prove to them that you are responsible enough to take care of a pet. If you're old enough, get a part time job to pay for the essentials, and maybe find out why they don't want a dog in the first place.
There is a reason why they are saying no.
