Is it appropriate for parents to stand in their underwear with the door open?

I know a young teen who's 13 who says her parents stand in their bedroom in their underwear, even her dad, changing his pants or something. She says it really annoys her and wants to know how she can get them to stop. Whenever she tries to tell them not to do that, they tell her to shut up. She wanted to know what to do, but I didn't know what to say, so I am going on Answers for her. What do you think?Is it appropriate for parents to stand in their underwear with the door open?
First of all you stated that they are doing this in there bedroom, which to me , it is in there own bedroom, no big deal. now realistically if they wear a swimsuit is that any different than underwear???? If they were parading the house that would be different.Is it appropriate for parents to stand in their underwear with the door open?
A lot of parents walk around in there underwear


I particularly don't like it. I don't walk in my underwear


in front of my kids and I don't let my son walk around


With just his boxers he has a little sister.


I feel you should set an example of self respect.





Sorry to say but most people find nothing wrong with it

But if your friend already spoke to them about how she feels.


and they ignore it, then they are people who find nothing wrong with it.


So there is not much she can do to change their mind.
I dont see the big deal. My family certainly arent nudists, but Ive always seen my parents in their underwear and it doesnt phase me.
They are in their own bedroom . I suggest if this bothers her then stay away from their room. Also she can turn her head.
