How can i tell my parents about my split personality?

I have two of me, caused by a seizure i had in 3rd grade. My parents don't know about ';us'; How do I tell them?How can i tell my parents about my split personality?

No biggie. Most people have split personalities. Most people aren't creative enough to actually name them.

Sit them down with you and tell them exactly what you've written here. Of course, tell them you ';feel'; it was caused by that particular seizure, then give them the reasons why.





An appointment should be made with a psychiatrist asap. Do your homework and find a reputable one. With the proper guidance, you should be able to live as normal an existence as anyone.

I never heard of a seizure causing a split personality. That is a new one for me. Generally it is caused by severe and prolonged psychological trauma as a mechanism of cooping and surviving.





This was diagnosed by a qualified psychiatrist or psychologist, right? I think it would be best to discuss this with him/her as to the best way as they would be the one best to know you and your personalities.

MPD, or Multiple Personalitys Disorder (also known as DID, Dissasociative Identity Disorder) is bad, but you can deal with it ^_^ Just sit your parents down, tell them about the siezure, and then tell them about your personalities.





Get them to take you to a Psychiatrist. He or she will give you a clinical examination to find out if you really have MPD, and if you do, they'll help you deal with it :)

They probably already know. You'd be surprised what parents actually do know about you but never mention. They just haven't said anything to you about it because they love and accept you as you are.
