What happens when your parent or guardian signs a waiver for a piercing if you are under the age of 18?

Does anybody know what happens when you go to get a piercing and you need your parent or gaudian to sign a waiver form if you are under the age of 18 in Georgia!! Like if it isnt your parents do they ask for the legal documentation of them being your legal guardian or do they just make them sign a form please i need answers!!! thanks!!What happens when your parent or guardian signs a waiver for a piercing if you are under the age of 18?
Well every state is different on what they will require. Most that I know will want you and your parent to provide photo ID that is either state or government issued (drivers license etc.) and some will require a birth certificate. With a legal gaurdian they will probably want you to bring along court or state paperwork showing that they are your legal gaurdian. As I said, all states are different so you may want to check with a local tattoo/piercing studio to see exactly what you may need to bring.
